May has been a pretty good reading month. I read a bunch of different things and loved almost all of them. There were definitely a few things that I didn’t really love, but I’m still glad that I read them. I also picked up some good books that I’m definitely excited about reading. Bleary-Eye by Ced is a graphic novel set in a fantasy world. It’s about a unicorn named Kurv and his friends trying to deal with an outside threat that might be spreading a disease across the land that turns people into zombie like creatures. It was published on April 21st, 2021. I rated it 3 stars on Goodreads.

Namesake by Adrienne Young is a young adult fantasy novel set in a fictional world where our cast of characters live and die on the seas while trying to make their fortunes. Fable learns about her history and tries to make a name for herself. It is set to be published on March 16th, 2021. I rated it five stars on GoodReads.
Book Review | Legendborn by Tracy Deonn

Legendborn by Tracy Deonn is a YA Fantasy novel that deals with Arthurian legends. It’s about a girl named Bree who attends a pre-college program after the death of her mother. While dealing with her grief, she gets caught up in a greater conspiracy that might have something to do with her mother’s death. I loved it, and rated it 5 stars.
Ashley’s February Haul and Wrap Up
February was an unexpectedly good reading month for me. I ended up reading 32 books, which is amazing considering it’s more than there are days in the month. I’m really impressed with myself, especially since I hit my goal of 50 books minimum this year. I also picked up some really exciting books this month. You’ll find them all below the cut!
Shelfie Sunday | OwlCrate The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue Box
The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue was one of my favourite books of 2020. I got it as an eARC, and I was absolutely obsessed with it. It was really beautifully written, and I really loved the story. Overall, it just really worked for me. So when I finished reading it, I knew that I had to try and get the OwlCrate box. I was lucky enough to have gotten a box, and overall I was really pleased with it.
