August felt like it went so quickly. I read a ton and had some lovely times with friends and family, and then all of a sudden the month was over. It was a really good month, but it’s end also marks the return to school time so that’s a little too bad. However, you can find out all about what I read and hauled below the cut.

Ashley’s July 2024 Book Haul and Reading Wrap Up
July was a great month for me. I have been greatly enjoying my summer vacation, so it’s been nice to take time to reconnect with me and friends and just not be stressed all the time. I also went on a mini honeymoon with my husband to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. I received some amazing books, and read so many wonderful books as well. You’ll find all of this below the cut.
Tag Tuesday | #bookhangovertag
I have to admit that book hangovers aren’t typically something I experience. I don’t usually finish a book and then find myself unable to start another one. But, I do like to answer book tag questions, so let’s dive into it below the cut!

Tag Tuesday | Beauty and the Beast Tag
Beauty and the Beast is one of my favourite Disney movies. I love that Belle is a bookish protagonist and that she makes reading look cool because so often it’s looked down upon in media. It’s definitely had more of a resurgence online thanks to things like BookTok, BookTube, and Bookstagram, and in my head, Belle has had a hand in raising a generation of readers who went on to become creators on those platforms.

Tag Tuesday | #booksandbubblesbooktag
I love the name of this tag, because in my mind books go perfectly with bubbles. Reading has always been one of my primary forms of self-care, and one of my favourite things to do is to read in the bath. And obviously, baths are made better with bubbles. Let’s get into the questions below the cut!
