The October OwlCrate was another pretty good box. It had some items that were definitely unconventional, but overall I really liked the designs of the items and the general practicality of them.
Book Review | Burn Our Bodies Down by Rory Power
**Disclaimer: I received a free advanced reader’s copy of Burn Our Bodies Down by Rory Power through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you to them and the publisher for this opportunity.
Burn Our Bodies Down by Rory Power is her sophomore novel. It’s a YA horror/mystery thriller. The novel is about a girl named Margot who has a complicated relationship with her mother, and ends up returning to the town her mother grew up in to find out more about her family history. It was published on July 7th, 2020. I rated it 4 stars on GoodReads, but it’s probably more of a 4.5.
Book Review | Star Wars The High Republic: Into the Dark by Claudia Gray
***Disclaimer: I received a free early access copy of Star Wars The High Republic: Into the Dark by Claudia Gray from NetGalley through Disney Lucasfilm Press for review purposes. Thank you so much for opportunity.
I’ve been in such a Star Wars mood lately! All thanks to my husband, who is making his way chronologically through every Star Wars book. We also watched Clone Wars and Rebels rather recently and the stories in those really got my hooked as well.
I haven’t had the pleasure of reading Claudia Gray’s other Star Wars books, however, this one has definitely sealed my fate.
Shelfie Sunday | September Owl Crate
The September OwlCrate box was a pretty great box. I’m usually quite happy with the OwlCrates, but I loved the practicality of a bunch of the items in this box. Overall, they did a wonderful job with the curation of this box.
Shelfie Sunday | August Owl Crate
I’m so behind, but here we are doing a breakdown of the August OwlCrate box. This box had a lot of really interesting items and I’m happy to feature it here.
