While October doesn’t seem to be light on new releases, it does seem like it’s going to be a little bit easier on my wallet than the September releases were. There are just less books that I’m interested in this month. Let’s jump into it!
Book Review | Five Total Strangers by Natalie D. Richards
**Disclaimer: I received a free early access copy of Five Total Strangers by Natalie D. Richards through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you to them and the publisher for this opportunity.
Five Total Strangers by Natalie D. Richards is a young adult thriller novel set on Christmas Eve. A high school senior is just trying to get home to her mother for Christmas, and ends up getting into a car with four strangers and then getting caught in a snow storm. It is set to be published on October 6th, 2020. I rated it three stars on GoodReads, but it’s probably about a 3.5.
Ashley’s October TBR
I cannot believe it’s October already!!! It’s been a crazy year, but I’m excited to load my TBR up with some spooky books! I’m also going to be participating in Sbooktober which is hosted by Paper Faerie, and some others. I’m not sure if doubling up on prompts is okay for that readathon, but I’m going to roll with it and that’s what I’m doing.
Ashley’s September Wrap Up
September has been a crazy month! It was back to school and since it’s not exactly a normal year, it’s been a bit hectic all around. However, I still managed to read 15 books, which is not too shabby at all. Also I got all but one of the prompts completed for the September back to school edition of The Loyal Book-a-Thon. Let’s jump into all of the books that I read this month! You’ll find them below the cut.

Misc Monday | Anticipated September Releases
I can’t believe it’s September already. 2020 has been such a roller coaster ride and I don’t really want to get into that all, but it seems like it’s gone by in a blink. I don’t know what the rest of the year has in store for us, but I do know that September has an insane amount of really good books coming out. Let’s just jump into it.
Shelfie Sunday | July OwlCrate Unboxing
July’s OwlCrate had a Date with Destiny theme! It was a cool premise and it featured a lot of really neat items. I’m excited to be able to share them with you slightly more on time than I usually do!
Ashley’s August Wrap Up
August was a lighter reading month for me, and there really wasn’t all that much of a reason behind that. I just didn’t read a lot, and instead did other things. I will say that I ended up reading more physical copies that I usually do, which was neat. I also read a lot of different things at once, and didn’t finish them all. However, I did end up reading 16 books. You’ll find everything I read below the cut.
