Three has never been my favourite number. However, it’s a good number for a tag full of bookish things I like and love. Below the cut you will find some of my top three bookish things!
Book Review | The Grey Sisters by Jo Treggiari
**Disclaimer: I received an electronic advanced readers copy of The Grey Sisters by Jo Treggiari from Penguin Random House Canada through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thanks to the publishers for this opportunity.
The Grey Sisters by Jo Treggiari is a multiple point of view YA fiction novel that’s a bit of thriller/mystery. It releases on September 24th, 2019. I gave it 3 stars on GoodReads.
Writing Wednesday | A Story About Finding Something That Has Been Lost
This week’s prompt is ‘A Story About Finding Something that Has Been Lost’. I hope it’s relatable to those who wear glasses.
The story is below the cut.

Tag Tuesday | Backpack Reads
Back to school season is upon us, and I’ve been back to work for a week now. What’s more relevant to back to school than a tag that has to do with backpacks? Though looking at the questions, I had to admit I’m not sure what they have to do with backpacks. Oh well, let’s just get into the questions.
Book Review | Rebel Girls by Elizabeth Keenan
**Disclaimer: I received a free advanced reader copy of Rebel Girls by Elizabeth Keenan from Harlequin Teen through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you to them for the opportunity!
Rebel Girls by Elizabeth Keenan is a contemporary historical fiction novel set in the early 90s in Louisiana. It comes out on September 10th, 2019. I gave it four stars on GoodReads, but it’s more of a 4.5 star read.
Writing Wednesday | A Story Set in London
This week’s prompt is ‘A Story Set in London’. It is loosely inspired by things that happened when I went to London on a school trip when I was in high school. Fortunately not all of these things happened to me.
The story is below the cut. (CW for vomit.)
Ashley’s September TBR
August was just such a rigorous reading month that I’m going to slacken the reins a bit with my September TBR. I’m not participating in any readathons, so my expectations for myself will be less limiting and I can read whatever I want. That being said, I do have some books I want to get to and you will find them below the cut!
Ashley’s August Wrap Up
This was a crazy reading month. I participated in the NEWTs Readathon hosted by Book Roast. It was a super fun reading roller coaster and I managed to get a lot of books read. I really enjoyed almost everything I read, and I loved how this readathon pushed me to get a lot of my TBR completed, even if I did change out a lot of my original TBR. In August I read 30 books, which means I read all but 6 prompts from the readathon and successfully reached my goal to be an Auror. Catch out my run down for what I read under the cut.
Ashley’s August Haul
Another month, another haul. Somehow I keep acquiring books, but I was really good about buying books this month. I only got three new books, and two were very kindly sent to me by publishers. While I haven’t read any of them yet, I am very excited about all of them. Check them out below the cut!
