March was a good month. I ended up reading a bunch and I enjoyed almost all of the things that I read. I picked up some exciting books and I’m feeling really good about how things went!
Ashley’s December Wrap Up and Haul
I honestly can’t believe that December is coming to a close and that 2020 is wrapping up. This has been a hard year, but it’s also had some good moments for me personally. That being said, I am glad that it’s coming to an end and am hoping for even better things in 2021. I had a pretty decent reading month this month, and I hauled a few books. I’m just going to jump into those now, but you’ll find them below the cut.
Misc Monday | Ashley’s 28th Year Reading Wrap Up
I turn 29 on Thursday and honestly I can’t believe it’s already here. I thought it would be cool to wrap up my challenge to myself of the 28 Books I Want to Read in my 28th Year. I did a six month check in, which you can find here.
Without further ado, let’s jump into the books I read and didn’t read from the remaining books on my list.
Ashley’s November Haul and Wrap Up
November has been a weird month. I’ve been really stressed out with work and the general world, but I’ve had books to escape into which has been great. I have also officially beaten my reading record for 2019! In November, I read 28 books.
Ashley’s October Haul and Wrap Up
October was a pretty great month. I always really enjoy reading things that are a little bit spooky and I need to make that a goal to try and read things that are spooky more often. It seems silly to limit it to one month of the year. Overall, it was a pretty good reading month in my opinion. I ended up reading 21 things, which I am pleased with. I also hauled a few books, and have decided to roll these two kinds of posts together.
Ashley’s August Wrap Up
August was a lighter reading month for me, and there really wasn’t all that much of a reason behind that. I just didn’t read a lot, and instead did other things. I will say that I ended up reading more physical copies that I usually do, which was neat. I also read a lot of different things at once, and didn’t finish them all. However, I did end up reading 16 books. You’ll find everything I read below the cut.
Book Review | Fable by Adrienne Young
**Disclaimer: I received a free advanced reader’s copy of Fable by Adrienne Young through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for this opportunity!
Fable by Adrienne Young is the first of two books in the Namesake duology. It is a young adult fantasy novel set in a seafaring world, and tells the story of a teenage girl named Fable who is just trying to survive and get by. Fable is set to be published on September 1st, 2020. I gave it 4 stars on Goodreads.
Ashley’s June Wrap Up
June has come and gone and so has this very strange end of the school year. I’m looking forward to my summer vacation and some reading and relaxing. Before I can jump into that, however, I have to look back on my reading month in June. I read 23 books this month, which I feel pretty good about. You’ll find everything I read below the cut.
Misc Monday | Six Month 28th Year Reading Update
My half birthday is on Wednesday so I thought we were about due for an update on the books I was planning on reading this year. I haven’t done as well with this as I was hoping to, but at least there are still another six months until my birthday to attempt to finish it all up.
Ashley’s May Wrap Up
May marked another month of me working from home, so it meant that I listened to a lot of audiobooks again. However, I also got to read some physical books, and I checked some of the beefier reads off my TBR. Overall, it was a really good reading month and I felt like I really enjoyed a lot of the things that I read. Everything that I read can be found below the cut!
