November was a really interesting month for me. I read a lot of books, but I also didn’t have nearly as much time for reading as I usually do as I started a course on becoming a teacher librarian. It’s really interesting, but with that on top of teaching full time, I didn’t get as much reading as I wanted to done. However, I’m still happy with what I read. Let’s jump into it.

Such a Pretty Smile by Kristi DeMeester is a horror/mystery-thriller novel that takes places over two timelines. You get the perspective of a mother and her daughter as they deal with some pretty gruesome events. It is set to be published on January 18th, 2022. I rated it five stars on GoodReads.

Graceling (Graphic Novel) by Kristin Cashore and adapted/illustrated by Gareth Hinds is a graphic novel adaptation of the young adult fantasy novel Graceling. It tells the story of Lady Katsa who is supposedly graced with killing. Katsa gets caught up into a greater conspiracy and has to go on a daring rescue. The graphic novel adaptation is set to be published on November 16th. I rated it four stars on Goodreads.
