I love how people draw inspiration for these bookish tags from the most everyday of things. Personally there are some things I would change on this tag, but it’s not mine so I’m rolling with the punches here. Check out my answers below the cut.
Thumb (a book you always give a thumbs up): I am obsessed with The Witchlands series by Susan Dennard, and will always give it a thumbs up. I’m so excited for the next book which finally has a publication date. If you haven’t read this series, you need to.
Index (a book you always recommend): I will always recommend The Female of the Species by Mindy McGinnis. I devoured this book in one day and I loved it so much, so I always suggest that people read it.
Middle (recent read you didn’t like): The last book I read that I didn’t enjoy was one of Kelly Oxford’s books. I had a hard time liking the book because I had a hard time liking Kelly Oxford.
Ring (a fictional character you’d marry): There aren’t really a lot of fictional characters that I want to marry. I enjoy some of the swoon worthy protagonists, but I don’t really have a lot of book boyfriends.
Pinky (a book you promise to read this year): I am definitely going to read American Royals by Katharine McGee this year. It’s on my 28 books to read in my 28th year list book. It’s also on my #bestiemademe challenge list with Kari.
