One of my favourite series of this year was The Cruel Prince series. I loved and hated the characters. I loved the books. I was SO excited when I heard that Queen of Nothing was being published earlier than anticipated because the ending of The Wicked King had me angsting for the next book.
When I got The Wicked King, I ordered the Fae Crate Hangover edition, and it was an awesome box. I got some really nice items, including the Cardan plushie, a Rowan berry necklace, and custom dust jackets. So, when I heard Fae Crate was doing a mini hangover edition for Queen of Nothing, I knew I had to get it. It took forever for it to get to me, but it finally did and here is my unboxing!
Firstly, it didn’t come in a box. It came in a custom printed bag. That was different but kind of nice. Secondly, it really was mini. The one I got only came with four items. Finally, just to be clear, this is not any kind of an ad. I purchased this with my own money and I just am really excited about it.
- Exclusive Pin by @EvyBenita
This pin is super cute! I like the design and how it perfectly matches with the vibe of the series. I’ve really gotten into collecting pins through boxes lately, and it’s nice to have them for a variety of books.
- Exclusive Collector’s Coin by Fae Crate
- Exclusive Mortal Queen Plushie by Fae Crate
A big draw for me when I’m getting these Fae Crate boxes are the plushies. They’re such a weird addition to my collection of merch and I just really love them. I really liked putting Jude with Cardan for this photo because they’re such terrible cuties. My only complaint is that her neck is a little bit floppy. Other than that she’s wonderful.
- Exclusive Decorative Dust Jacket by Gabriella Bujdoso
Finally, we have this lovely dust jacket. I got the box option that just came with the Queen of Nothing jacket. It’s lovely and it will go nicely with my other dust jackets from the previous hangover crate.
Overall, this isn’t my favourite box from Fae Crate, but it’s not my least favourite either. It’s just a really nice matching finishing touch for the series.
