The school year has really been one heck of an adjustment for me. I’ve been reading loads but not doing all that much when it comes to this blog, and I’m sorry about that. I figured it would be worth it to do some catching up. It was on the whole, a pretty great reading month though, and the school start-up wasn’t too bad either. Let’s jump into it below the cut.
Ashley’s July 2024 Book Haul and Reading Wrap Up
July was a great month for me. I have been greatly enjoying my summer vacation, so it’s been nice to take time to reconnect with me and friends and just not be stressed all the time. I also went on a mini honeymoon with my husband to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. I received some amazing books, and read so many wonderful books as well. Ashley’s November 2023 Book Haul and Reading Wrap Up
November was a pretty good reading month. I tried to take it a little bit easy because I knew that I had report cards this month, but I still managed to get a lot of reading done, which felt pretty good. I also got some pretty exciting books in the mail. Overall, I really can’t complain.
Ashley’s October 2023 Book Haul and Reading Wrap Up
October was a really busy month for me when it come to stress and all that, so I think I might have overcompensated by reading a whole lot more than I would have thought. Escapism is always fun. However, on the whole, it was a really good reading month and I read a lot of really wonderful things. I also got some really exciting books in.
Ashley’s August 2023 Book Haul and Review
August was such a strange but lovely month. I took time to enjoy being a newlywed, and then I started getting ready to go back to work, despite there being a heck of a lot procrastination involved in that as well. I’m very good at procrastinating. I did, however, end up doing a fair bit of reading, and some particularly good reading. It was an excellent month all told.

October was a really good reading month. I read more than I thought I would get to, and the overall quality of the things that I read was really great. I enjoyed reading some spooky things for October. It felt very seasonally appropriate. It was also an exciting month for book buying because I ended up doing a Book Outlet order and treated myself a little bit.
Ashley’s September 2022 Book Haul and Wrap Up
September was a hectic month, but it always is when you consider that it’s back to school for me as a teacher. However, I also was taking a course, which was wrapping up, and then I started another one, which overlapped with that first one. It makes for a busy time of year. Fortunately, I was still able to get some reading in. I also picked up some books that I am very excited about.

August wasn’t my best reading month. I did read some interesting books, but I felt like I was in a bit of a reading slump for a good part of the month. It couldn’t be helped. Ashley’s July 2022 Haul and Wrap Up
July has been a pretty mellow month. I’ve been able to do a lot of relaxing, which was really nice after the hectic nature of the school year. I have been taking an online course so I haven’t done as much reading as I wanted, but I have managed to read quite a few books, which is nice nonetheless. I also got to read some fun books! I was so excited when I got my two five star reads this month. I also hauled some fun books that I’m really excited about. Below the cut you’ll find all of the books that I read and hauled in July.
Ashley’s June Haul and Wrap Up – 2022
June was a busy and hectic month. I read a lot of things and did a lot of things. Most of what I read were graphic novels, which are typically fast reads for me. I lost track of my hauling of books in the last little while, so I’m just going to list all the books that I hauled in May and June below.
