Ashley’s April Wrap Up

This was a crazy reading month for me. I felt really slumpy back in March and then had to transition into working from home. I expected that I wouldn’t really get a lot of reading done this month despite participating in both the OWLs Magical Readathon and our Loyal Book-a-Thon. I figured I’d read those, and that would be about it. However, I ended up getting through a lot of books and finished off both readathons pretty early in the month. Working from home meant that I could listen to audiobooks while working, and it’s made me a lot more efficient reader. So I’m pretty proud of the fact that in April I read 34 books/novellas. You’ll find everything I read below the cut. 🙂

Ashley’s February Wrap Up

February was a weird reading month for me. I had several things on my TBR that I really wanted to get to, but I didn’t get to most of it. Without officially saying it, I kind of threw my TBR out the window. I finished some things I started in January, but anything physical that I started in February that wasn’t a graphic novel was pretty much a no go. I was definitely feeling slumpy, despite the fact that I read 19 things. Most of what I read were audiobooks and graphic novels. That’s not a bad thing, but it’s not really a great thing either. I need to work on my physical TBR some more, but that’s probably a next month kind of thing. However, without further ado, you’ll find everything I read below the cut.

How is it the end of the year already? I can’t believe we’re about to start a brand new decade. This past month I read 18 books, which is pretty exciting because I officially beat my record of books read this year by reading 235! I also participated in the winter session of the Magical Readathon, which was definitely fun. I have a few books at the beginning of January to finish it up. I had a rather interesting reading month this month! I thought I was having a bad one where I hadn’t read very many books, but I ended up reading 16, which is pretty good in my opinion. September was a bad reading month for me if I compare it to the previous month. In August I read so many books, and I felt like I did a really good job. However, my circumstances changed a little as we moved into September, so I didn’t get nearly as much read. I suppose that’s what happens when you go back to work and there are lots of other commitments on my plate then I had in August. However, I have to remind myself that ## is still a good amount of books to read and that 30 in one month is pretty abnormal unless one is reading purely graphic novels. Anyways, lets jump into what I read under the cut.

This was a crazy reading month. I participated in the NEWTs Readathon hosted by Book Roast. It was a super fun reading roller coaster and I managed to get a lot of books read. I really enjoyed almost everything I read, and I loved how this readathon pushed me to get a lot of my TBR completed, even if I did change out a lot of my original TBR. In August I read 30 books, which means I read all but 6 prompts from the readathon and successfully reached my goal to be an Auror. Catch out my run down for what I read under the cut.

July was a crazy busy month for me! It was my first month of summer vacation and I had a bunch of stuff on the go: a garage sale, a wedding, camping, and helping my parents move! However, in between and around all those things I was able to get a bunch of reading done. I read 26 books in July. You can find my Wrap Up and brief reviews under the cut.

March has come to an end. I have no idea where the time went, but here we are getting ready for April. This wasn’t my best reading month, and I seem to recall that last March I read almost thirty books. So this month wasn’t quite that, but considering I took a lengthy vacation where I visited one of my best friends in the world and had minimal time to read, I did pretty good. This month I read 20 books, and I will say on the whole that it was filled with some really good reads. My lowest rated book was two stars, and I had several five star reads. Without further ado, let’s just get into the breakdown of what I read in March.

Ashley’s 2018 Reading Wrap Up

This year was a crazy year for me with reading! I grew my bookstagram to over 1600 followers, I started a book blog with Kari, and I read a whopping 231 books! It’s been an excellent year and I’m so thankful for all I’ve achieved.

I was trying to think of some way to wrap up my reading year, and trying to wrack my brain for ideas. I saw a friend who did a one sentence review for every book she read this year, but I didn’t want to do that because I didn’t think anyone would want to read it! 231 is a lot of reviews! I decided, instead, that I would just go through my 2018 Reading Resolutions and let you know how I did on each one of them!
