May has been a pretty good reading month. I read a bunch of different things and loved almost all of them. There were definitely a few things that I didn’t really love, but I’m still glad that I read them. I also picked up some good books that I’m definitely excited about reading. I loved the theme of the March OwlCrate. This one was also funny because I got the box before I even got my shipping notice for the box. They did forget one of the items that was supposed to be in it, but that happens and when I emailed, they promised to get it shipped for me. Let’s break down the rest of the box below the cut.

Ashley’s January Haul and Wrap Up
January marked the start of a brand new reading year. I’m excited for a fresh start and to read some really good books. I’m hoping to be able to tick more books off of my physical TBR, so I’ve joined a TBR challenge through bookstagram. Five of the books I read this month are from that.
Ashley’s December Wrap Up and Haul
I honestly can’t believe that December is coming to a close and that 2020 is wrapping up. This has been a hard year, but it’s also had some good moments for me personally. That being said, I am glad that it’s coming to an end and am hoping for even better things in 2021. I had a pretty decent reading month this month, and I hauled a few books. Ashley’s November Haul and Wrap Up
November has been a weird month. I’ve been really stressed out with work and the general world, but I’ve had books to escape into which has been great. I have also officially beaten my reading record for 2019! In November, I read 28 books.

Even If We Break by Marieke Nijkamp is a young adult mystery thriller set at an isolated cabin on a mountain. It is about five friends who play a roleplay game together, and who are getting together for the last time only for things to go horribly wrong. Even If We Break is set to publish on September 15th, 2020. I rated it 4 stars on Goodreads.
Shelfie Sunday | June OwlCrate Unboxing
The June OwlCrate was a pretty cool box. It had an “All The World’s a Stage” theme, which I loved and was super excited about. I love that quote from Shakespeare, and it was really nice to see what items were included. My apologies for the delay on posting this!
Ashley’s June Haul
I didn’t actually buy any books in June and I’m pretty proud of myself for that. However, I did order some books in May from Indigo and they came in this month. I also got my May OwlCrate box in and it was super exciting because it had a book AND a graphic novel.

Despite the fact that COVID-19 has thrown off OwlCrate’s usual schedule, I still really loved this box and everything that it had in it. I think that the theme (Full Moon Magic) was super fun and the items all really fit the theme.
