The Summer We Forgot by Caroline George is a young adult mystery thriller. It features a group of teens who worked at a summer camp a couple of years before the events of the book, but mysteriously they can remember no details about the summer. They reunite after the discovery of their science teacher’s body to try and figure out what happened that summer. The book was published on March 8th, 2022. I rated it 4 stars on Goodreads.

January was a pretty good month. It was definitely a month with a lot of pre-orders so I got lots and lots of book mail, which was exciting. I evern chipped away at reading some of those books, which was extra fun. It was also a really good reading month. My students were very helpful in encouraging me to read a book for each day of the month. I didn’t quite succeed in that, but I read a lot, and I read a lot of very good things. You’ll find what I’ve read below, along with the books hauled.

From the moment I read Sky in the Deep in one sitting, Adrienne Young became one of my favorite authors and therefore one of my go-to auto-buy ones. December was also a busy month, and I think by this time I was feeling a little burnt out from the year. My course was all wrapped up at the start of the month. Then I celebrated my birthday and it was Christmas and my family was visiting. I didn’t get as muhc reading done as I wanted but I read some good stuff anyways. Let’s just dive into it!
