There are a lot of good sounding books coming out in August. I can’t wait to check out all the books coming out, but I narrowed it down to four that I am most intrigued by. You’ll find them below the cut.
- Midnight Sun by Stephenie Meyer – August 4th
Okay, so I can’t say that I’ll be rushing out to buy this book, but I have to admit that I’m intrigued. I loved Twilight when I was younger, but since then have learned about how problematic it is. However, I’m definitely intrigued to read the whole of Midnight Sun because I read what she had published after it got leaked. I want to see how it all looks from Edward’s perspective, but I don’t know if it’s something I’m really itching to read.
- The Wish They Were Us by Jessica Goodman – August 4th
The cover for this book is absolutely gorgeous, and I have to admit that is what caught my attention in the first place. However, when I read the blurb, I found myself really intrigued by the plot. I like mysteries, and I’m really interested to see how this one would play out. I definitely want to read this one after it comes out.
- The Game by Linsey Miller – August 4th
The summary of this book is really interesting. The cover is beautiful as well, but ultimately it’s the summary that makes me want to read it. I find it an intriguing premise and as previously mentioned I really love mysteries. I think this could be a really fun one.
- Court of Lions by Somaiya Daud – August 6th
I don’t know if I like the cover change in this series, but I did really enjoy the first book, so it would be interesting to see how this series continues on.
