Shelfie Sunday | Unboxing – LitJoy Magical Edition 7.1

01.19.2020 by Ashley // Leave a Comment

One of my favourite box discoveries this year has been the LitJoy Crate Magical Editions. Harry Potter is one of the great loves of my lives and I will always love items related to the books. I’ve tried a few different Harry Potter subscription boxes and this is one of the best I’ve found despite it not being a monthly subscription.

I will acknowledge that it is on the pricier side of boxes, but it’s always jam packed full of items that are super interesting and high quality. It’s totally worth it to me, and I just wish I had found out about it sooner.

  • Keep off the Dirigible Plum Socks by Scott Clawson

I love Luna, and these socks are so cute! I haven’t tried them on yet, but I’m really hoping they fit because let’s be real, most socks aren’t one size fits all.

  • Dumbledore Quote Pillowcase by Sweet Sequels

This quote isn’t from this book but it’s so perfect to fit in with the theme of this box. It’s a cute throw pillow cover, and I guess I need I’m going to get a new throw pillow in order to show off its beauty.

  • Hedwig Ornament Bag by LitJoy Crate

When I took this photo some of the items were downstairs and I was too lazy to go get them but I photographed this bag because it was super cute. You’ll see the ornament in the next photo!

  • Hedwig Ornament by LitJoy Crate

Here is the promised ornament and isn’t it just the cutest? It’s so fluffy and adorable and will look great with my other nerdy ornaments on my tree!

  • English Wizarding World Map Blanket by Melody Howe

This blanket is so soft and fluffy. I love the design and the texture of it. It’ll make a good display piece because it’s not the biggest blanket and I think my feet will stick out if I use it.

  • Tales of Beedle the Bard Book Sleeve by Book Beau

This sleeve is so gorgeous! I’m obsessed with the design and while I haven’t used it yet, I’m sure I’ll make good use out of it because I can’t handle how amazing it it. I’m definitely going to want to show it off!

  • Golden Snitch Enamel Pin by Ruthie Rhodes

This pin is huge but it’s really cool. It has a hidden detail where you can spin the top and it shows the resurrection stone hidden inside the snitch. It’s beautiful, and such a cool design.

  • Hermione’s Beaded Bottomless Bag by LitJoy Crate

I love this replica. It could only be more perfect if it was actually bottomless. Obviously, I live in the muggle world so I will have to continue to be disappointed by the limitations of that.

  • Gryffindor Sword Floating Pen by LitJoy Crate

This pen is a really neat concept. My sword didn’t seem to want to float if it was supposed to move along the length of the pen, but I really like the design.

  • The Life and Lies of Albus Dumbledore Notebook by Holly Dunn

This notebook is beautiful! I love the design and that it’s taking on the appearance of this iconic Rita Skeeter book. I don’t know when I’ll get the chance to use it, but it’s always handy to have a notebook around.

  • Deluminator Candle by Say Anything Studio

This candle is lovely, and smells great. It has a unique inspiration and the bottle it’s in really suits for the deluminator.

  • World’s Worst Camping Trip Mug by Ting X

I am on such a mug swing this holiday season. I keep being gifted mugs and I genuinely can’t complain. Obviously, this mug isn’t gift but I love it a lot. It’s got such a cool design and it’s totally perfect. A worst camping trip camping mug? Genius.

  • Magnetic Bookmarks by LitJoy Crate

The magnetic bookmarks are always cute. I don’t usually use them but I think they’re a neat idea!

  • Bill and Fleur’s Wedding Invitation by LitJoy Crate

This paper replica is so, so beautiful. I love the foiling, and I’m obsessed with the idea of it. To be honest, I kind of want to frame this item!

  • Godric’s Hollow Puzzle by Lindsay Holladay

I’m not a big puzzler, but I love the idea behind this. The art looks beautiful and I might have to actually try and build this.

  • Trading Cards by Tamar Vashadze

The trading cards are a cute idea, and these will go well with the ones I got in the last box!

Isn’t that box just so magical? It made me so happy when I opened it, and I just loved all of the items. They’re lovely and unique and will make great accessories on my shelves and for bookstagram photos.

What’s your favourite item?
