Reading is one of those equal opportunity hobbies. You don’t need to schedule it; you can just fit it in whenever you want, and whenever you have time. Personally, I like to read in every free second I can find.
Today, we’re going to do the Days of the Weeks in Books Tag!
Monday: Too lazy to read
- The Fever Code by James Dashner has been sitting on my shelf for quite awhile. I liked The Maze Runner series enough to want to pick up the prequel a few years ago, but now I feel like I’ve moved past the book and can’t really be bothered to pick it up.
Tuesday: Emotionally difficult
- The Way I Used to Be by Amber Smith is a book that I read in my 24 hour readathon a couple of months ago. That book absolutely ripped my heart out and stomped on it. It deals with such a touchy subject but it was so perfect. I sobbed the whole way through and it had been awhile since I found a book that evoked that kind of reaction from me.
Wednesday: Did not finish
- I have a whole shelf of books that I bought for texts in university and never really got around to finishing. Whoops!
Thursday: Wouldn’t recommend
- Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a book you will never catch me recommending. I really, really wanted it to be good but it just wasn’t.
Friday: Anticipated
- Ghosts of the Shadow Market by Cassandra Clare and Co. is a read I’m really anticipating. I know that the novellas have been released but I’d really rather wait for them to all come in one book so I can read them in one fell swoop.
Saturday: Can’t wait to read
- I’m really excited to read Finale by Stephanie Garber. It’s sitting on my shelf right now, just waiting for me to pick it up.
Sunday: Didn’t want it to end
- I really didn’t want The Wicked Deep by Shea Ernshaw to end. It was a book that I could have finished in one sitting, but I wanted to prolong the experience and I wanted the story to continue on forever and ever.
