Today, I have the Beverage Book Tag for you! It’s very important to stay hydrated, so grab yourself a glass of water and settle in for today’s post!
Tea: Favourite fantasy read
- I know this is an obvious answer, but I really love Harry Potter. I love a lot of fantasy books as it’s my typically my favourite genre, but Harry Potter is one that I have loved for a very long time, and I see myself continuing loving for the rest of my life.
Milkshake: A book that played with your emotions
- What They Don’t Know by Nicole Maggi is a book that I read last year. I remember reading it and feeling like my heart was breaking for this character. It really gave me all of the feels.
Juice: A childhood favourite
- One of the heart breaks of my childhood was when I found out that Carolyn Keene wasn’t a real person. Nancy Drew was one of my childhood favourites as I loved reading about her solving mysteries. So you can understand why I might be disappointed to find out that she wasn’t a real person.
Smoothie: A book you read in one sitting
- Recently I picked up Her Royal Highness by Rachel Hawkins in the tub. I picked it up and I could not put it down until it was finished. The book was beautiful and I loved the story. I just couldn’t put it down.
Wine: Favourite classic
- Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen is one of my favourite classics. I loved the development of the characters and the hate-to-love romance is totally to die for.
Soft Drink: A book that made you laugh
- There’s Somebody Inside Your House by Stephanie Perkins made me laugh, though not in a good way. Some of the details in the story struck me as a bit preposterous and so I couldn’t help but laugh at it.
Water: A book everyone should read
- The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater is one of my all time favourite series, and it is one that I will always recommend to people. Stiefvater’s prose is magical and hypnotic.
Frappucino: A summer favourite
- Last summer I fell in love with some contemporary reads. To All The Boys I’ve Love Before by Jenny Han was such a cute romance and it was absolutely perfect for the summer holidays.
Latte: A cozy warm read
- Is it bad to use Harry Potter twice in one tag? Because I am going to do it whether it’s bad or not, because Harry Potter is a comfort read for me. It makes me feel safe and happy.
