After May, where I ended up throwing most of my TBR out the window and reading whatever I want, I’m going to try and keep things light this month. I am going to hope to get to a couple of different things, but I’m just going to let myself mood read for the most part. It’s going to be a hectic month, so I don’t want to put too much pressure on myself. So without further ado, here are my reading plans for June:
- Beauty and the Billionaire by Jessica Clare
Kari and I are going to buddy read this one in June. We found it when looking up Beauty and the Beast re-tellings, and it reminded us of a story we were writing together. We just knew that we had to read it. So we’re going to read it together in June.
- One Shakespearean play
I have been doing really poorly with this resolution of mine, but I’m really hoping to get to one this month.
- Truly Devious by Maureen Johnson
This is my TBR jar pick for this month. I’ve really been enjoying mysteries/thrillers lately so this was an exciting thing to draw from my jar this month. I have heard a lot of really good things about this book and I am really excited to read it.
- Ten books
I like to read a minimum of ten books per month, it seems like a fairly reasonable goal, and this leaves things open enough for me that I’ll be able to read whatever I want outside of my three set reads to fill up the other seven books.
What are you planning on reading in June? Are we reading any of the same things? Let me know in the comments below!
