Tag Tuesday | #bookhangovertag

07.16.2024 by Ashley // Leave a Comment

I have to admit that book hangovers aren’t typically something I experience.  I don’t usually finish a book and then find myself unable to start another one.  But, I do like to answer book tag questions, so let’s dive into it below the cut!

Ashley’s June 2024 Book Haul and Reading Wrap Up

07.14.2024 by Ashley // Leave a Comment

June was one hell of a month for me.  It was super busy, but we managed to survive and make it through in the long run.  I ended up reading not as much as I wanted to, but I still read some pretty good books.  You’ll find my June reads and my June haul below the cut.

Tag Tuesday | Beauty and the Beast Tag

07.02.2024 by Ashley // Leave a Comment

Beauty and the Beast is one of my favourite Disney movies.  I love that Belle is a bookish protagonist and that she makes reading look cool because so often it’s looked down upon in media.  It’s definitely had more of a resurgence online thanks to things like BookTok, BookTube, and Bookstagram, and in my head, Belle has had a hand in raising a generation of readers who went on to become creators on those platforms.

Tag Tuesday | #booksandbubblesbooktag

06.18.2024 by Ashley // Leave a Comment

I love the name of this tag, because in my mind books go perfectly with bubbles.  Reading has always been one of my primary forms of self-care, and one of my favourite things to do is to read in the bath.  And obviously, baths are made better with bubbles.  Let’s get into the questions below the cut!

Book Review | The Last Delivery by Evan Dahm

06.08.2024 by Ashley // Leave a Comment

**Disclaimer: I received a free eARC of The Last Delivery by Evan Dahm through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.  Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for this opportunity.

The Last Delivery by Evan Dahm is a horror graphic novel about a delivery man who must deliver a parcel to the resident of a large sprawling house where a ginormous, but twisted party is happening.  It is set to be published on June 11th, 2024.  I rated it 4 stars on Goodreads.

Ashley’s May 2024 Book Haul and Reading Wrap Up

06.05.2024 by Ashley // Leave a Comment

May has been a busy month.  It’s usually report card time and that makes me busier than usual. However, when I’m stressed I tend to read more than I usually might, so It’s been a pretty decent reading month too.  Let’s cut to the chase and jump into what I’ve read this month below the cut.

Tag Tuesday | #flexibooktag

06.04.2024 by Ashley // Leave a Comment

What kind of reader are you?  One of my friends calls me a veloci-reader, which is a really corny term but I kind of love it.  It is true.  I read a lot, and I read quickly.  That’s why I thought it would be fun to answer some of these questions today from an old tag that I was challenged to do back in my bookstagram days.  It’s a quick one, but how about you?  Let me know in the comments.

Ashley’s April 2024 Book Haul and Reading Wrap Up

05.28.2024 by Ashley // Leave a Comment

April was a pretty good month.  I didn’t read nearly as much as the previous month, but when you don’t have two weeks off, that doesn’t matter too much.  I had some great reads and god some great books in.  Let’s dive into it below the cut.

Ashley’s March 2024 Book Haul and Reading Wrap Up

05.26.2024 by Ashley // Leave a Comment

March was an excellent reading month for me.  I had two weeks off for Spring Break, so I really made the best possible use of my time and read so much while I was off work.  It was a wonderful time and I read so, so many excellent books.  It’s partly why I’m so behind on Wrap Ups.  I found it pretty daunting to want to type up all the reviews for the books I read.  However, it’s finally time so you’ll find my reading wrap up and March haul below the cut.

February was a pretty good month for me.  It started a new semester, and that felt pretty light and nice.  I got a lot of great books, and I got some wonderful reading in.  You can see more about both of those things below the cut.
