Once upon a time, two young women met on a writing forum. They got to talking and found that they had much in common, including a love of books. They quickly became friends and began to introduce each other to new reads, increasing their ever growing TBRs. Then one day, one of them asked the other, “Do you want to start a book blog?”

Hi! I’m Ashley. I’m a 26 years old. I have two degrees, a BA with a history major and an English minor and a BEd. I’m a high school teacher. I have a dog named Charlee who is very quirky but also very cute.
I am a Hufflepuff and INFJ. I love to read, write, and spend too much time watching mindless content on YouTube or Netflix. My TBR is probably longer than I will ever be able to read, but I’ll be damned if I’m not going to try.
I love pretty colours and pretty typography when it comes to covers, and shiny foil on the cover is the best. I read all kinds of books but I tend to prefer YA and fantasy. I love me some magic.
Please don’t ask me to choose my favourite book, that’s like asking me to pick my favourite student (I could probably do it, but I really don’t want to). <3

I love pop culture and video games. Comic books make up a high percentage of my TBR. One of my favorite things about books can be the covers: I like bright and bold palettes and am a sucker for gorgeous typography.
Captain America is my all-time favorite superhero. My top 5 probably goes like this:

My favorite books are the His Dark Materials trilogy.
