29 Books to Read in my 29th Year

12.03.2020 by Ashley // Leave a Comment

This will be my third year completing this challenge, and I have  to admit I’m excited to try and do even better than I did the previous two times.  I can’t make any guarantees but I really, really want to try and read all 29 books that I put on this list.  I’m also going to try and not add one item with multiple options on it.  That really just ends up making it to be more than what I really need to strive for.

I am not going to give a spiel for every book because I don’t really want to say the same thing 29 times.  I’m just going to list 29 books that I plan on trying to read this year and then we’ll check in in June to see how I’m doing and again in December to see if I did it and read them all.

1. Moxie by Jennifer Mathieu

2. The Nowhere Girls by Amy Reed

3. Roar by Cora Carmack

4. King of Crows by Libba Bray

5. Blood & Honey by Shelby Mahurin

6. The Guinevere Deception by Kiersten White

7. Legendborn by Tracy Deonn

8. Unravel the Dusk by Elizabeth Lim

9. The Vanishing Deep by Astrid Scholte

10. Majesty by Katharine McGee

11. Chosen by Kiersten White

12. A Heart So Fierce and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer

13. All the Crooked Saints by Maggie Stiefvater

14. Children of Virtue and Vengeance by Tomi Adeyemi

15. A Map of Days by Ransom Riggs

16. Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins

17. The Lost Book of the White by Cassandra Clare and Wesley Chu

18. Now Entering Addamsville by Francesca Zappia

19. One by One by Ruth Ware

20. Bright We Burn by Kiersten White

21. The Near Witch by VE Schwab

22. Grace and Fury by Tracy Banghart

23. The Kingdom of Back by Marie Lu

24. Amber and Dusk by Lyra Selene

25. Slay by Brittany Morris

26. Little Monsters by Kara Thomas

27. The Dark Descent of Elizabeth Frankenstein by Kiersten White

28. The Lives of Saints by Leigh Bardugo

29. Broken Things by Lauren Oliver

So that’s 29 books I’m hoping to check off my TBR during my 29th year! Which ones should I try and get to first?
