I didn’t actually buy any books in June and I’m pretty proud of myself for that. However, I did order some books in May from Indigo and they came in this month. I also got my May OwlCrate box in and it was super exciting because it had a book AND a graphic novel.
- Foul is Fair by Hannah Capin
This was a book I’ve been meaning to buy for forever because I absolutely loved it. It’s one of my favourite things that I have read so far this year and is definitely on my list of all time favourite books.
- A Heart so Fierce and Broken by Brigid Kemmerer
I read the first book in this series last month and when I finished it, I needed it. I love the idea behind this series and I’m excited to see where it goes next.
- A Ballad of Snakes and Songbirds by Suzanne Collins
Yea, I did it. I am not super duper excited about this being about President Snow, but I’m definitely a little bit intrigued so I had to pick it up to eventually get around to checking it out.
- The Vanishing Deep by Astrid Scholte
I loved Astrid Scholte’s debut novel, and so I really wanted to get a copy of her second book. The premise is interesting and I’m really excited to read it.
- Aurora Burning by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff
When I finished the first book in the series, I knew that I needed the rest of the series and I’m so excited to eventually get to the sequel. I love the stories and how they’re written.
The next two books I got in my OwlCrate:
- Incendiary by Zoraida Cordova
- Witchy by Ariel Slamet Ries
I don’t know much about either of them, but I’m definitely really excited about them.
What did you buy in June?

I got a few eBooks in June and a few physical books, but I’ve been restraining myself quite well! I bough Court Of Miracles because I read and loved the eBook so much, and got Girl, Serpent Thorn in my Fairyloot box.
Of your list I’ve read: Heart So Fierce (loved it), Ballad (hated it with a firey passion I’m sorry) and Aurora Burning (I just need the sequel yesterday, so good).

That’s an awesome haul! It’s good to know about the books, even if you hated Ballad. I’m really not sure how I’m going to feel about it to be honest, because I’m not super keen on Snow being the subject but I wanted to check it out nonetheless. 🙂
