Hi, friends! We promised you a 24 hour readathon, so here we are back with that announcement!
The official The Loyal Book-a-Thon 24 Hour Readathon will take place on: Saturday, April 11th, 2020.
In case you haven’t participated in one before, a 24 hour readathon is a readathon where you try to read as much as you can during a single 24 hour period. You can try to stay up all night, or just read as much as you can before you need to sleep. We’ve scheduled ours for a Saturday so as to create a minimal impact on those who work Monday to Friday jobs (which we know is not everyone, sorry), and to hopefully not interfere with possible Easter weekend family activities.
We know that not everyone is able to spend that much time reading, so please don’t feel pressured into it. However, it can be fun and last year I was able to knock several books off my TBR thanks to one.
As a quick reminder, you can earn extra entries to our giveaway (read more here) by participating in the 24 hour readathon so be sure to document your experience and tag us in your stories at least once over the course of the day. Click here for Kari and here for Ashley.
