Tag Tuesday | 28 Books to Read in my 28th Year

12.03.2019 by Ashley // Leave a Comment

This isn’t your typical tag, so I suppose I’m kind of fudging this in order to post it.  However, I think you will all forgive me because it’s my birthday! That’s right.  Today I turn 28 years old and I thought I would tag myself to do a similar challenge to what I did last year when I turned 27.  If you missed it, I came up with a list of 27 books I wanted to read in my 27th year, which can be found here.  I did okay in the end, but I like to challenge myself so we’re going to do it again and we’re going to try and do even better!

So without further ado, here are 28 books that I’m hoping to get to in my 28th year.

  • 1. Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo
  • 2. American Royals by Katharine McGee
  • 3. Sword and Dagger by Robert Cochran
  • 4. The Secret Commonwealth by Philip Pullman
  • 5. The Red Scrolls of Magic by Cassandra Clare
  • 6. Ghosts of the Shadow Market by Cassandra Clare
  • 7. The Shadowglass by Rin Chupeco
  • 8. Queen of Nothing by Holly Black
  • 9. On the Come Up by Angie Thomas
  • 10. How to Stop Time by Matt Haig
  • 11. Sawkill Girls by Claire Legrand
  • 12. Kingsbane by Claire Legrand
  • 13. Royal Diaries by Various Authors
  • 14. Extras by Scott Westerfeld
  • 15. Miss Mayhem by Rachel Hawkins
  • 16. Thunderhead by Neal Shusterman
  • 17. Emergency Contact by Mary HK Choi
  • 18. Come Tumbling Down by Seanan McGuire
  • 19. Heroine by Mindy McGinnis
  • 20. Foul is Fair by Hannah Capin
  • 21. Imaginary Friend by Stephen Chbosky
  • 22. The King of Crows by Libba Bray
  • 23. Call Down the Hawk  by Maggie Stiefvater
  • 24. The Beautiful by Renee Adhieh
  • 25. A Curse so Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer
  • 26. #MurderTrending by Gretchen McNeil
  • 27. From Twinkle, With Love by Sandhya Menon
  • 28. The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid
  • That is everything that I’m hoping to read in my 28th year.  Have you read any of them yet? What books should I prioritise? Let me know in the comments down below!
